Fundraising Team Leader / Director

Who we are

Remineralize the Earth (RTE) is a Northampton, MA-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization engaged in a variety of projects both domestically and internationally that promote the use of finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals to restore soils. Through our education and outreach, projects, research, and advocacy, RTE facilitates a worldwide movement that brings together gardeners and farmers, scientists and policymakers, and the public to regenerate soils and forests around the world, increase the nutritional quality and yield of food, and stabilize the climate through carbon sequestration.

We work with local and virtual volunteers on a program management system called Basecamp. Our team is made up of federal work study students as well as graduate students, researchers, and other professionals.

RTE is looking to build capacity so that we can initiate projects around the world. We are looking for a Fundraising Director who takes the initiative and is steadfast in building direct relationships with donors, foundations, companies, and celebrities, has experience in managing fundraisers and relationships with philanthropists, and is passionate about improving the quality of our soils and make a local to global impact.

The Fundraising Director will be responsible for leadership and day-to-day planning and execution of RTE’s fundraising. The Director will manage all components of developing a fundraising strategy, from its early stages all the way through its implementation and promotion in the public phase and direct a team of fundraising volunteers.

This position is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing, collaborative, and experienced fundraiser and development leader to build on the momentum of RTE’s planning for this year and beyond.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with fundraising, marketing, and development
  • Excellent communication for work with donors and fundraising team
  • This position can be local or virtual

Please let us know how many hours per week you have to contribute, send us your resume and/or LinkedIn profile and good times to reach you to jcampe@remineralize.org.

This position could be from 5-20 hours per week. As a virtual volunteer, you would become part of our community on Basecamp, our project management system. We are always looking for volunteers to become part of our close working team (5-10), but we work with 20-30 volunteers.

We look forward to hearing from you!
