Description

Volunteer Roles include:

  • Set up visiting room
  • Greet children and caregiver
  • Help escort children from front lobby to the visiting room (and vice versa)
  • Assist with arts and craft activities
  • Distribute snacks
  • Help ensure participants are having fun in a safe and inclusive environment
  • Clean-up room


County Jail #2, 425 7th Street, San Francisco:

Visits occur on:

  • Friday afternoons, Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons

Volunteer Shift Time:

  • Fridays 3:30-6:30pm
  • Saturdays
  • 8am-11am (morning),
  • 11:30-1:30 (afternoon)
  • 8am-1:30pm (all day)


County Jail #5, 1 Moreland Drive, San Bruno:

Visits occur on:

  • Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons

Volunteer Shift Time:

  • Saturdays
  • 8:15am-11am (morning),
  • 11:15am-1:30pm (afternoon)
  • 8:15am-1:30pm (all day)
