The United Nations Association of the USA, Northern New Jersey Chapter is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to building understanding of and support for the ideals and work of the UN among the American people. Its education, policy and advocacy programs emphasize the importance of cooperation among nations and the need for American leadership at the UN. Through discussions, partnerships, and action-oriented initiatives, UNA-NNJ offers its members a platform for education, advocacy, professional development in international affairs, and the opportunity to volunteer in international service. The group consists of diverse professionals from the fields of business, law, public service, healthcare and the media.

Latin Affairs Committee

Through a series of lectures, meetings and recreational activities, the Latin Affairs Committee supports the principles of the UN and promotes interaction among those interested in Latin American Affairs . More importantly, we strive to educate the members of the association as well as the general community about issues pertinent to Latin America by addressing the educational, cultural, political and social issues affecting the region.

Our main goal is to bring together professionals in the Northern New Jersey who are interested in the prosperity and development of Latin America. The Committee is also a great opportunity for networking for professionals with ties to Latin America.
