Major functions include developing a plan to increase donors and participation in fundraising events and researching and writing at least 6 grants during the service year with a total potential value of $100,000. The VISTA will work with the organization to develop plans for events, solicit sponsorships and in-kind support, create logistical strategies and develop post-evaluation processes for each special event. VISTAs serve their communities through indirect service. The VISTA member will have limited interaction with Cornerstone Ranch clients and will be based in an office setting. Applicants should possess exemplary written and oral communication skills and computer skills. Recruitment and fundraising experience a plus.
