A few hours per week
Long-Term (6 months-1 year)
Do you have an interest in history? We are looking for volunteers to help gather information about cases we are considering conducting a field search in support of. Such cases include missing aircraft, missing persons, etc. The information sources may include newspaper accounts, law enforcement records, other governmental accounts and so forth.
Qualifications include reliability, trustworthiness (all information you gather must be treated as confidential) and reasonable reading and writing skills in English. The ability to read/speak multiple languages is helpful, especially German, French, Dutch, Italian, Greek or Croatian.
A strong preference is given to those with military, law enforcement, forensics or other public safety backgrounds as these tend to provide a skill set that helps in this role. However, we can train others who have the willingness and determination to learn and serve others.
Volunteers may be subject to drug testing and background checks.
We welcome and encourage persons from all faiths (or lack thereof), nationalities, ethnic heritages, orientations and/or gender identities to apply.
