Description

We’re a nonprofit creating an international policy change to end violence against women and girls, and we’re seeking a volunteer to help us tell our stories. You’d work with the communication manager and one to two other volunteers, all working remotely. You must possess a high degree of individual accountability and integrity, strong team skills, and have the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.


Along with the team, you would:

  • Create media packets for our members (bios, photos, quotes)
  • Generate op-ed ideas
  • Help track relevant violence against women news worldwide
  • Identify journalists covering violence against women and girls worldwide
  • Assist with social media posts and content generation as needed / desired
  • Contribute ideas to media strategy


Desired skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong sense of story and news
  • Experience with storytelling, podcasts, video production a plus
  • Experience using all social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest a plus
  • Foreign language fluency a plus (Spanish, Arabic, French, or other)
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude
  • Interest ending discrimination and violence against women worldwide
