Videographer for Children in Foster Care
- Volunteer Opportunity posted by Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange
Times of day
A few hours per month
Right now there are over 850 children in Massachusetts foster care, waiting for adoption. These children have no permanent family. We want to change that.
We are seeking to create compelling video snapshots of waiting children, in order to recruit adoptive families. These short films help us capture the unique spirit and heart of each child, so that we are more able to connect them to families for adoption.
As a volunteer videographer, you will be connected with one of our many waiting children and their social workers around the state to capture footage that will be edited into a 2-5 minute piece. For this role, we are searching for a videographer willing to travel within an hour's time from Providence to nearby Massachusetts locations.
Whether you are an amateur exploring videography or a seasoned professional, we would love to work with you! This is a flexible opportunity, and we will work with your schedule and availability. Opportunities are available both for those seeking a one-time volunteer role and those looking for a consistent avenue to help children in foster care.
