Description

We are looking for adventurous and proactive school teachers who want to instill motivation to low-income families' children with few opportunities in life to improve their ability to create a decent living. We promote creativity, spirituality, self-reliance, independence, and companionship.

We are in a partnership with a school in Honduras and we look forward to give more children the chance to gain a great education that they may influence their own families and their generations. We believe, education is a powerful tool that will give children the power to change their environment. Since, public education is poor, bilingual education seems to be the only alternate option for them to get better.

Volunteers to teach are not expected to speak Spanish, since they will be teaching subjects such as Science, History, Biology, Phonics, Spelling, Math, Reading or Literature, and Grammar. The curriculum and the Teacher's Guide will be provided.

Housing and food are given to the volunteer as well as a modest stipend for other needs. Half of the flight ticket will be refund at the end of the program.
