Child-welfare Attainment Center Uganda {CAC Uganda} formally Kalambi Community Outreach Project (KACOP)

 Is a community Based organization started with an aim to improve the living conditions of vulnerable children through provision of free basic medical care and financial security. CAC Uganda core program areas are household economic security empowerment and Health.

CAC Uganda is targeting to serve vulnerable children below eighteen (18) years through household approach in Wakiso Sub County, Wakiso district, central Uganda.

Major activities of CAC Uganda are;

Skills training of OVC caregivers through tailoring and business skills

Basic Medical care to vulnerable children and their caregivers through medical work camp

Overall Objectives of Children-welfare Attainment Centre

To increase household income and financial security

To encourage positive parenting

Free basic medical care services

Objectives of the medical work camp

 To provide free basic medical services to critically needy children and their households in Nakabugo and Buloba Parishes of Wakiso Sub County for one year.

Primary duties/responsibilities:

A social worker will be responsible for counseling, data management, planning, mobilization, care and support and follow up.


·        Any experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities to perform job duties.

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

·        Experience working with diverse populations. 

·        Knowledge and skills working in a team effort

·        Must maintain confidentiality regarding organization and constituent information

Participation fee borne entirely by the volunteer and no repayment at the end of the project, the fee covers only program funding, accommodation, pre-departure administration work, one day trip around Kampala, on arrival orientation and airport pick up.
