Our Chemical Free Garden hosts a variety of vegetables, herbs, and berries that serve our food pantry, Charlotte’s Table. Volunteers are needed to help with planting, harvesting, and general garden care so that we can better support our community. For some, we are their only source of a nutritious meal, and we are excited to continue to provide them with a stepping stone on their path to wellness.


Apply to be a Garden Volunteer, and you will be supporting our mission, “to empower people and communities to pursue and sustain healthy, enriched lives.

Volunteer Qualifications:

-General knowledge of plant care a plus but will be taught!

-Experience with chemical free gardening preferred, but not mandatory.  

-Experience with garden equipment such as snips, rakes, and tomato cages a plus.

-Ability to stoop, stand, bend, and kneel and for an extended period (4 hours at most)

-Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions

-Desire to learn seasonal gardening techniques

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must be over 18, or volunteer with a parent/guardian

*This opportunity is available on Saturdays, between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm*

This is a great way to satisfy any required Community Service hours!
