Description

The New York State Mentoring Program (NYSMP) utilizes a site-based mentoring program designed to match youth with adult mentors who can guide them in developing better self-esteem, creating healthy relationships and making positive life choice. With structured activities and a site coordinator to facilitate session, the program offer the maximum support to volunteer mentors and their mentees. Mentoring sessions take place at a designated location at a set time.


With schools starting soon, we are in need of mentors in Harlem.

  • Youth: Ages 8-11
  • Day: Every Wednesday
  • Time: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm
  • Location: West 127th Street

  • Complete and retuen the NYSMP Application form.
  • Attend a New Mentor Training.
  • Background Check- Including fingerprinting
  • Reference Checks
