Volunteers are encouraged to join Canadian Bible Society (CBS) and its Bike 4 Bibles (B4B) riders on a free trip throughout BC this summer.

These volunteers are called Roadies and will travel on an 800 km route beginning and ending in Revelstoke.

The basic requirements of roadies are:

·        Loading and unloading equipment

·        Loading and unloading meal supplies

·        Ensuring the preservation of riders’ bikes while on open trailers

·        Driving vans / pick-up trucks loaded with supplies / beverages

·        Following riders in vehicles to ensure road safety

·        Transporting riders to shower facilities each evening

·        Participating in meal and fellowship times with the riders

Roadies would need to be at least 18 years of age or older, physically capable and maintain a valid driver’s license (there may be opportunities for Father & Son like roadie teams with children being at least 16 years of age or older)

There will also be a Roadie Captain who will provide instructions every day.

Roadies are asked to follow simple orders to ensure the viability and safety of the B4B riders.

Roadies, riders and other team members all sleep at each church location during the trip.
