Sayariy-Resurgiendo is a Peruvian NGO working directly with people from disadvantaged communities, building safe spaces where children can grow up in an environment free of violence but with respect and equality of opportunities. We promote environmental awareness, as well as historical and cultural memory. Our programs are developed with the involvement of the local communities and the volunteers become part of a cultural exchange which helps reinforce and promote knowledge.

We are growing since 2015 and collaborate at grass roots to promote 3 areas;

  •         Education
  •         Economic Empowerment
  •         Mental Health and Human Rights

These are promoted through:

  •         Early childhood stimulation workshops
  •         Collaborating with local teachers to teach English, Art and Sport
  •         Community library activities
  •         Teaching quechua (Peruvian indigenous language)
  •         Developing art, craft and design classes, along with business and marketing knowledge for mothers
  •         Literacy programs for adults
  •         Information workshops on gender awareness, equality and health
  •         Creating social spaces
  • Teaching English at local primary schools

Our organisation aims to collaborate with the communities to foster empowerment so they can continue sustainable progress and grow in a safe and positive manner. In this way being agents of their own progress.
