Join a great organization and a caring community! This volunteer position is ideal for community-minded and eco-driven volunteers who want to make a difference and help Earthwise Aware advance climate & wildlife conservation citizen science programs both in our communities & globally.

The EwA mission is to empower individuals, communities and organizations to interact responsibly and ethically with our natural world. Whether as an enthusiast, tourist, or scientific inquirer, EwA helps to prepare each of us to adopt responsible nature ethics and to minimize ecological disruptions to the habitats surrounding and sustaining us. We engage communities through citizen science, and teach an approach that involves each individual in concrete conservation efforts taking place around the world. We strive to build a network of environmental leaders who will be prepared to take impactful strategies and skills into their industries.

Volunteers will be assigned to the EwA committee tasked with creating a traveling classroom that will run from Boston to the Rocky Mountains. Students will experience the intricate details of ecology in diverse landscapes, and engage with critical environmental and conservational issues. Volunteers will play a central role in the development of this project. The ideal candidate will:

- be passionate about the environment.

Volunteers will work remotely, with one in-person meeting every 2 weeks and one virtual progress meeting per week.
