The Merrimack River Watershed Council is seeking a qualified candidates to join our volunteer Board of Directors. Candidates for the Board with water resource, natural resource or science background are preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with professional or corporate skills are also useful as we grow and diversify. Affection for the river and time to devot are the most important qualities. The full board and subcommittees meet in the evening monthly.


About the MRWC: Our mission over the last 40 years has remained focused and consistent–to protect, improve and conserve the Merrimack River watershed for people and wildlife. We do this through advocacy, education, public engagement, science, and public policy. 


Why Now: We are working to grow the organization and our capacity and have new initiatives that will advance the mission. 


Benefits to joining the Board: Clean water, a healthy watersheds, and a lot of high fives for a job well done.
