After School Aide

V   After School Aide must enjoy working with school aged children/teens (Ages 5-14)

V   Responsible for assisting with the children’s homework, facilitating arts and crafts projects and recreational activities

V   Ensuring safety of all children in the program

V   Interacting with children and their families

V   Working independently as well as with a team

V   Assist in set up and clean up of the after school center

V   Creating an enriching, fun and safe environment

V   The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model to participants in the program

V   Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3p.m.-6p.m. Plus 1 hour per week to be determined for weekly team meetings
