Description

Do you want to get connected in the community of Boulder, help preserve our history, and participate in awesome art and science projects? Then volunteering with the Museum of Boulder is the perfect fit for you!

We're looking for energetic, ready-to-learn individuals interested in filling a variety of volunteer needs at the new Museum of Boulder. If you have daytime availability and enjoy working with kids, we'd love to have you as a tour facilitator for visiting school groups to interact with local history, or even lead regular activities in our makerspace to help kids to discover and create with tools such as a virtual reality machine, laser cutter, and other hands-on activities. We have plenty of other flexible volunteer opportunities as well.

No experience? No problem! We'll provide all necessary training and support you in whatever position works best for you. All you need is a willingness to learn, ability to commit for one full semester, and excitement about engaging with the community. Training will begin in September, so we'd love to hear back from you soon. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the history of Boulder, get experience leading groups in a variety of topics and activities, and support a local institution.
