Every year thousands of people flock to our beautiful beaches for the summer holidays, and every year tons of litter and debris are left behind. Help I Love A Clean San Diego and Surfrider San Diego clean up the litter left at Mission Beach Park after the 4th of July festivities before it can reach our ocean! Last year, 280 volunteers collected 1,015lbs of debris in three short hours – let’s see what we can find this year!

This event qualifies for the VOLUNTEER patch in our 65th Anniversary Commemorative Patch set! Order details will be available after the event, be sure to register for verification.

As with all of our volunteer events, we encourage you to bring your own reusable cleanup supplies—buckets, gloves and water bottles—though we’ll have extras on hand, too. Each volunteer will need to have a signed waiver form, and volunteers under the age of 18 will need an additional parent/legal guardian signature.

Waivers will be available on-site. We will have cleanup supplies, snacks, and water. We also provide community service hours and Letters of Appreciation for volunteers.

See you out there! Register on our website www.cleanSD.org
