Description

NeighborLink provides free home repairs and services to low-income seniors and homeowners with disabilities. When volunteers do work they need tools and materials and they generate refuse (branches, trash, etc.) We have a small trailer we use to haul these things but need capable drivers who have a small truck and are comfortable pulling a 12 ft trailer. We schedule work on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and work primarily on the near north/east/west sides of Indianapolis. We need volunteers who can sign up for at least one day per month to pull the trailer. Working with a partner would be ideal but not necessary - it's just easier moving ladders and such. If you have questions call 317-286-2740 or email Dave@nlindy.org. Check out our website (https://www.nlindy.org) see typical projects. It's actually lots of fun and a life saver for our homeowners.
