Art Monastery Vermont invites hardworking, passionate Artmonks to join our summer community.

Worktraders are invited to participate in the community’s daily meditation and movement practices, weekly ceremonies and rituals, and all group meals. Depending on the AMP programming calendar during your stay, there may be opportunities to participate in the creative collaborations with other Artmonks, and solo creative practice is always encouraged, but between shared meals, spiritual practice, and worktrade the days can already feel quite full…

All worktraders will be expected to participate in the general program that is being offered during the time of your stay. For example, for a few weeks of the summer we will be in silence and we ask all worktraders to also be in silence. Please check the calendar to see the full summer program during your stay.

Worktrade tasks vary according to our needs and your skills. These tasks include the areas of kitchen/food-systems, garden/landscaping, carpentry/renovation, sign-making, admin, graphic design, and video editing.
