Good Shepherd Community Care is seeking compassionate certified massage therapists to volunteer to visit our hospice and/or pediatric palliative care patients in the Greater-Boston area. This is a wonderful and rewarding way to contribute to Good Shepherd's mission of delivering the highest quality of care, support and education for those experiencing or anticipating serious illness and loss. Good Shepherd Community Care is one of the most trusted not-for-profit health care organizations in Greater Boston focusing on hospice and palliative care, and is non-sectarian. Volunteers are a valued part of the Good Shepherd Community Care team!

A comprehensive hospice volunteer training will be held in Newton, MA, starting October 2. Our patients are located in the Greater-Boston area, from Braintree to Framingham to Revere, inclusive, so you do not need to be based close to Newton in order to work with our patients. For those interested in working with our pediatric palliative care patients we will offer additional training.

Hours are locations are flexible as related to volunteers' availability. Monthly volunteer meetings offer continuing information and support and the opportunity to meet with fellow volunteers.
