Are you interested in learning about other cultures and making friends from around the world? Do you love welcoming visitors to the Seattle area? More than 250 international students are hoping to connect with a local host this summer and fall!
FIUTS Homestay Hosts provide short-term (7-10 day) homestays for international students from around the world who have just arrived in Seattle to study at the University of Washington. Hosting is a great way to welcome someone as they embark on an international adventure!
UW internationals range from incoming freshmen to graduate exchange students and visiting scholars. They come from over 50 countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
FIUTS hosts represent the diversity of out community - single professionals and students, couples and families with or without children, retired people, and multigenerational households from a variety of backgrounds. Students may be hosted individually or in pairs or groups.
