Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated undergraduate and graduate students to prepare applications for child abuse prevention and intervention research projects.  Projects may involve how to improve parenting education on discipline, physician education on detection of child abuse, and detection of community violence exposure amongst young children in the South Bronx.  Volunteer must have good verbal and written communication skills as well as be able to work independently.  Time spent will vary based on project and volunteer's availability. Volunteer will gain experience on research proposal preparation and how to do child advocacy.
