The Best Two Hours of Your Week: Mentor high-achieving, low-income students!
- Volunteer Opportunity posted by Minds Matter of Portland
Times of day
A few hours per month
Long-Term (6 months-1 year)
Minds Matter is looking for college graduates who can dedicate two hours on Saturdays to help our accomplished and motivated students achieve their dreams of college success.
We work with high-achieving, low-income teens who aspire to attend a four year college. Through the relationships our students build with their Mentors, they learn the critical thinking and communication skills needed to be successful in college and life.
Minds Matter Portland is managed exclusively by volunteers–we don't have a single paid staff member. Our team comprises young professionals who represent many diverse companies and organizations in the Portland area.
Help us support some of Portland's brightest and most-deserving students!
