Description

Join the largest community health center on the Westside of Los Angeles. As a Public Health / Clinical Operations Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to support a wide-variety of innovative and life-saving programs. Depending on the clinic's needs and your interests, your involvement may be related to any one of the following departments:

  • Quality Improvement
  • Population Health Management
  • Clinical Operations
  • Health Education
  • Public Health
  • Street Medicine
  • Patient-Centered Medical Home
  • Social Determinants of Health


Launched in 1970 by volunteer physicians Philip Rossman, MD, founder, and Mayer B. Davidson, MD, co-founder, Venice Family Clinic first operated out of a borrowed storefront dental office after normal business hours. It is now the largest community health center on the Westside of Los Angeles with twelve sites in Venice, Santa MonicaMar VistaCulver City and Inglewood. The clinic served 25,817 patients in 114,633 visits in its fiscal year ending June 30, 2017.
