The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona (CFBSA) provides immediate food crisis relief to children, families, and the elderly. In addition to supporting clients in gaining consistent access to sufficient food, CFBSA also offers gardening programs, culinary job training, and other services that help lift individuals out of poverty and onto a path of financial stability. When founded in 1976, the CFBSA began providing food for 500 meals per day. Forty years later, the CFB provides enough food for 98,500 meals per day and serves a total of 225,000 hungry, low-income men, women and children per month throughout a 23,100-square-mile area.
