Are you looking for a place where your services are needed the most? Do you love to read with children?. Then this is the best place for you
Gadrage Aid Foundation International (GAFI) is running a project to promote reading among young students in and around Kasoa, Ghana from now till December.
The trend of academic performance in Ghanaian public schools has been a major worry to government and corporate entities.
Available statistics indicate that about 75% of the pupils who sit for BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination-Equivalent to 9th Grade) score below average. This is obviously a very disturbing situation. This problem has been attributed to the inability to read as well as comprehend English.
The responsibility falls on us all to secure for this young generation a future of hope.
Gadrage Aid Foundation International (GAFI) welcomes volunteers across the globe to help instill a love of and competence in basic reading and writing skills in primary age school children.
