Description

Volunteer with CADIP in Togo and provide assistance to students through various educational activities. The youth in rural areas is facing serious problems related not only to primary health care, but also unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS. Financial resources are lacking, but we have to make our modest contribution to try to resolve these plagues that seriously hinder the community development. In addition, the schools and colleges are facing shortage of teachers.

The international volunteers will: - Organize thematic awareness-raising sessions, sketches, forum theater, discussions, debates on HIV/AIDS and contraception. Distribution of condoms and leaflets. - Assist teachers in the school, organizing refresher courses for students at home, helping them with their homework and research in the library.

Project dates: November 5 - November 26, 2018
