Description

Songkhla zoo is the biggest zoo in the south, located on the Khao Rub Chang hill, Songkhla. This is an open zoo where visitors come to see animals, play in the water park, do camping, seminars, etc.

Volunteers are expected to work in the zoo, helping the staff with daily tasks such as feeding animals, cleaning, teaching, helping in the water park and special work with the Research unit such as joining them for Fishing cat research and conservation project, Survey of new kinds of plants, animals, macrobiotics, etc. For the research work, you’ll need to go to the forest to collect data, sometimes during the day and sometimes during the night.


Duration of the project: 1 to 12 months.
