California Citrus State Historic Park

The primary focus of the Volunteer in Parks Program is to help provide a great experience for our park visitors by interpreting the cultural and natural history of the park and citrus industry, conducting public interpretive tours and leading hands-on learning for children, and assisting park staff in maintenance of the park’s varietal citrus groves. Join us to lead tours through the park’s varietal groves, offer tasting experiences to visitors, and introduce guests to the museum and the rich history we have to offer here at the park. Our volunteer experience provides an opportunity to utilize your talents and develop new skills in areas such as communications, public relations, historical interpretation, research, and restoration of artifacts. As a volunteer, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the park, make new friends, and experience other parks throughout the state.
Shifts are available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the summer and winter, with the addition of Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the months of January-April. We welcome volunteers of all ages, including mature and responsible teens! No background knowledge is necessary--we will give you all the training you need to succeed. We look forward to you joining our team soon.
