The Crisis Intervention Services VISTA will develop and refine systems to promote smoother delivery of services in Network’s Crisis Intervention Services such as the Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, and seasonal income-support program areas. Major duties include developing a nutritional education program to eliminate gaps in service, increasing volunteer and donor and in-kind support through the enhancement of the food pantry and clothing closet. The VISTA will implement and coordinate seasonal programs in order to enhance Network’s income-support programs and improve future coordination of the same. Applicants should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, computer proficiency and competence with Microsoft Suite, good interpersonal skills, flexibility and timeliness and the ability to work independently to accomplish daily tasks.   

*VISTAs (Volunteers in Service to America) devote one year of full-time service at nonprofit organizations or local government agencies. They build the capacity of these organizations to develop, manage, and sustain programs to make poverty history. To learn more visit or email
