Description

The Daniel Society is a 501(c)(3) organization that confronts poverty because all lives have value, purpose and potential. We design smart, compassionate and sustainable poverty reduction initiatives in the United States and globally. We give people a "lift" by targeted resources that empower them to live a life of dignity that they themselves chart.


The Daniel Society's Center for Global Initiatives is seeking two volunteer project assistants in Lusaka, Zambia to join a small team working to launch two development projects in Zambia. This is an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on experiences in the areas of global health (HIV/AIDS) and women's economic empowerment. 


The volunteer will assist the team with:

  • Coordinating NGO meetings
  • Communicating project goals and activities with local officials,
  • Promoting our progress using various social media platforms.


A minimum commitment of three months is required, and candidates may work remotely.


The ideal candidates have a passion in fighting global poverty, a bachelors degree (in any subject), and experience volunteering or working with a nonprofit or non-governmental organization.
