Do you have a background or professional knowledge in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) field? Are you excited to help future leaders of tomorrow? If so, Technology Access Foundation (TAF), a non-profit centered around providing underrepresented students with equitable STEM education, needs you this Fall!

We’re looking for mentors that are willing to guide our students along the path of gaining a fulfilling and meaningful career in STEM. Mentors would commit to meeting in person (or via teleconferencing) at least once a month and answering questions or concerns students may have via email at least once a week. Though our students at TAF@Saghalie range from 6-12th grade, many of seniors are at pivotal moment in their educational careers and are seeking positive guidance that could impact the rest of their lives.

Who We Are:

Since 1996, Technology Access Foundation (TAF) has worked to bring STEM skills to underrepresented students of color. We equip students of color for success in college and life through the power of an interdisciplinary STEM education and supportive relationships. Today, TAF’s programs impact over 14,000 public school students across Washington State. Additionally, TAF offers a Martinez Fellowship in which we provide and support multiple pathways to a teaching degree for teachers of color in order to improve teacher diversity and retention in Washington State.
