137 West 26th Street
Take The Lead is a nonprofit organization dedicated to propelling women to leadership parity across all sectors by 2025. On November 14th, we are pleased to present our inaugural Take The Lead Day of Action to thousands of women through 20+ in-person workshops in over 11 cities and 25+ virtual events across the country.
At our New York City event, we will host a half-day Powertopia Symposium with panels & workshops and an evening reception centered around Women & the Art of Gender Equality for 200+ participants in Chelsea.
We are seeking passionate volunteers who believe in women’s leadership parity and the urgency for a Powertopia world. At the event, you will not only assist with the event flow, but have the opportunity to hear from influential women leaders.
Volunteers will be needed for a variety of shifts from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm. Assignments will be based on the volunteer’s availability and skills with most shifts lasting 3-4 hours.
You will help us with set-up, check-in, greeting and directing attendees, preparing materials, and a variety of other crucial event elements.
Volunteers will be required to join a one-hour video conference to review roles and responsibilities the week of November 6th.
