Looking to volunteer at a party for a cause? Technology Access Foundation (TAF) is having our first ever Climbing, Beers and Board Games fundraiser! The event, happening on November 14th from 5:30-10:30pm, will be an evening featuring beer from local breweries, board games made by local manufacturers, climbing at an incredible indoor gym and a mission you can stand behind. All proceeds support learning opportunities for teachers and students of color through public education.

We're looking for 3 MAST PERMITTED volunteers to help with:

x. Drink area set-up

x. Bartending

x. Ensuring the drink area stays tidy

x. Clean-up once the event has wrapped

We’ll be having a required (but short!) orientation at 4:30pm to go through processes, procedures and position assignments so that any questions you might have will be answered. We’ll be wrapping up around 10:30pm or earlier and, as this is an event featuring beer, we’re only looking for volunteers that are 21 and older.

Who We Are:

Since 1996, Technology Access Foundation (TAF) has worked to bring STEM skills to underrepresented students of color. We equip students of color for success in college and life through the power of an interdisciplinary STEM education and supportive relationships. Today, TAF’s programs impact over 14,000 public school students across Washington State. Additionally, TAF offers a Martinez Fellowship in which we provide and support multiple pathways to a teaching degree for teachers of color in order to improve teacher diversity and retention in Washington State.
