Virtually Share the Knowledge You Learned During Military Service

Volunteers are the backbone of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum. Although the museum is temporarily closed due to the pandemic, educators are asking whether veterans are available to either speak virtually to their classes or answer written questions about military service, aviation science and space. No equipment is required and volunteers will be able to participate without leaving their homes. Scheduling and administrative support will be available to all volunteers.

The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has the largest collection of historical aircraft flown by Marine Corps aviators in the world as well as thousands of artifacts from World War I to present day. Thousands of local, national and international guests visit each year. Currently there are 31 aircraft on display.
