TEACH AFTER SCHOOL ART IN PERU! January 2019 Opportunities!

Time Commitment

Part time (10-30 hrs/wk)

Short-Term (few weeks/months)

LLI, a young and growing grassroots nonprofit, is searching for an Art Education Volunteer Teacher to teach kids ages 7 and up art through fun art projects. You will have the best role in our organization! You'll be given the reigns of our art program, allowing you to design and develop the program during your time with LLI.

We have four cycles per year. Our current cycle ends in early December. So if you are looking for a shorter volunteer stint - come out now! If not, we would love volunteers who can start the 10th of January and onward, preferring a minimum stay of 6-8 weeks. Spanish is a major plus, but not necessary-- just a willingness to learn. We've had plenty of art teachers who have not spoken Spanish, but were willing to learn "art vocabulary" and did very well!

What are the benefits you ask? You'll receive twice weekly for educational/professional development and support on your lesson plans, classroom management and more. Plus you'll receive the opportunity to run your own program and build your own curriculum.

Not available for that time commitment? We are ALWAYS looking for talented and passionate volunteers, no matter their time commitment.

In addition, there are other opportunities to help in our English, Math, Chess, Reading, and Physical Education programs.
