Delve into a new language! We provide you the chance to fully immerse into Chilean culture; learn Spanish, volunteer in La Serena and have the chance to discover the Elqui Valley.
The Spanish classes offer a perfect balance between teamwork and the personalized work, creating a climate of concentration and simultaneous fun that will make easy the leaning. The classes are limited to small groups, and focus in conversation practice, grammar, readings and the vocabulary. The lessons are provided 4 hours per day, total of 20 hours per week Monday to Friday. You attend classes in the morning, and the remainder of your day you will volunteer at children's center helping children learn English, while you practice your Spanish.
The total immersion course is 1 to 4 weeks, program includes:
Arrival transportation with meet and greet in La Serena Host Family accomodation with private bedroom, sometimes shared with other volunteer. 3 meals a day 7 days a week 20 hours Spanish language classes (4hrs per day) with professional instructors + 4 hours volunteering Learning materials provided including learning material 20 hours of volunteering in a local community center (4hrs per day) Orientation and sightseeing day in La Serena Project Director available 24/7 for support and guidance Departure transfer at the end of the program

How To Apply
You select your travel dates. Program fees based on 7 night increments (example 1 month is 28 nights = 4 weeks) Fill out the online application for. Submit your $120 deposit before 7 days. We accept personal Check, Money Order, Credit Cards or Paypal in US currency. (this reservation fee is included in the total price of the program) Email, fax or mail us a copy of your resume/CV. Since we do not know you, or your interests, we found that a resume/CV can provide enough information to allow for a successful placement. After review and acceptance of the application (1-2 days), we will email you a detailed Orientation Guide.
Upon receiving the Orientation Guide, it is time for you to book your flights, check your passport expiration and obtain travel/medical insurance coverage. Flight arrangements are the responsibility of the volunteer; however we offer assistance with your planning. Email, fax or mail us your flight details and a clear copy of your passport ID page. Pay the balance for the program fees, due 45 days prior to your departure (you can only pay with personal check, money order or wire transfer). Upon receipt of your payment, we will send your program details with the placement and accommodation information (1-2 days).
