Description

The project is organised in support of a primary and nursery school located in Kizanyirizi parish, Kakukulu subcounty, Kasawo County. The Orphanage promotes early childhood education and Universal Primary Education. With the increase in enrollment in not for profit private school, this has increased the load to staff and other workers to deliver quality services to the children. It serves a population of more than 300 children with 6 teachers. The program tends to build formal and non-formal training, develop the fortitude needed to succeed at home, in school and in life.

Volunteers are needed for teaching and outreach program for care and protection of the children in need of support.

Study theme: Improving school water and sanitation facilities to increase enrollment and attendance for quality education.

Duration of the project: 1 to 12 months. The program is running throughout the year.
