Description

We are welcoming volunteers at East Africa Secondary and Vocational School who can teach Computer Applications like MS Word, MS Excel and MS Acess to our students aged between 13 to 17 years. East Africa Secondary and Vocational School is a school in Africa with its base in Kampala, Uganda. The school is training the african students to become self-reliant by training them in practical skills such as Tailoring, Hair dressing, Carpentry, Electrical installation, Agriculture, entreprenuership, motor-vehical mechanics in addition to the nomal secondary school subjects of English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Music, Dance and Drama. The school targets children from low income families who have limited chances of making to the University.

To volunteer with our school is free but volunteers only make a small contribution of 150 US dollars per week towards sustainability of the school programs. We shall be providing you with free accommodation and your meals at school. At school you will be having access to electricity and clean water. The volunteer will be staying in Kampala on Gayaza road.

We accept volunteers for one week, 2 weeks or for a month upto six months.
