The Mission of the Center for Ecological Living and Learning (CELL) is to inspire our next generation of sustainability leaders. Our education programs teach youth (and others) how to work in community to achieve a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable future. At the completion of a CELL program, participants develop leadership action plans that empower them to employ what they have learned in their own lives and within their schools and communities. Empowering sustainability through community is our passion.

We are currently initiating a four-year climate education program Our Oceans Our Lives: Climate Action Now in twelve states from Maine to Florida. Our science-based curriculum will be aligned with the Next Gen Science Standards and teach students: 1) what climate change is; 2) why it's happening; 3) how it impacts the oceans, their coastal communities, and their lives; and 4) what they can do to take action to reduce carbon pollution. A key component of this program is an innovative Climate Olympians for Ocean Leadership (COOL School) initiative that will empower youth climate action in schools and local communities.

Again, we are looking for a volunteer to join our team who has a passion for our work and Our Oceans Our Lives: Climate Action Now program, fundraising skills to help us realize our mission, and a desire to help empower the next generation of climate and oceans change makers.

We welcome a conversation from anyone who has a passion for CELL’s work and the skills and motivation to help us raise the funds needed to inspire our next generation of climate change makers. Your work with us can be done remotely.

We look forward to hearing from you.
