The nonprofit organization Let's Get Ready provides students from low-income circumstances and historically underrepresented backgrounds with free SAT preparation, college admissions counseling and assistance, as well as other support services necessary to gain admission to and graduate from college.

We are looking for professionals from various career backgrounds to share their career experience and expertise with motivated, college-bound students at Let's Get Ready's summer Career Day. We welcome and encourage professionals from all backgrounds, but would be particularly grateful for volunteers in medical, engineering, fine arts, and journalistic professions.

Career Day offers our students the opportunity to learn about diverse career fields and how they can take meaningful steps towards achieving their career goals. In addition, volunteers have the opportunity to mingle and network with other professionals while simultaneously making a difference in ambitious students' futures. Every year our students excitedly look forward to the Career Day, and we are hoping that you will join us in helping our students!

Career Day will be held on Saturday, July 28th from 11am- 3pm at NYU Silver Center, 31 Washington Place, New York, NY, 10003. Volunteers are encouraged to share this opportunity with friends and colleagues who are likewise interested in volunteering. Volunteers may range in work experience from temporary interns to full-time employees to retired professionals. Lunch will be included.

Interested volunteers may RSVP by filling out the following google form below and please send any questions, comments, or concerns to msheck@letsgetready.org. Thank you for considering volunteering with Let's Get Ready!
