Description

We are seeking a Teaching and Community Project Coordinator with a proven ability to coordinate volunteers and to manage and develop one of the Frontier Teaching & Community Projects. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and requires someone with initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently.


The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging volunteer project placements, administering the project and budgets, liaising and negotiating with local organisations and partners and taking responsibility for the overall running of the programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our teaching programmes in local schools; therefore a TEFL qualification/ Teaching experience is ideal; fluency in French is essential.


Position to start: June 2018

Contract Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension

Accommodation: Basic accommodation provided

Travel: Contribution towards an international airfare provided plus internal travel as necessary to the fulfilment of duties.

Insurance: Employer’s liability insurance provided.

Subsistence: Food provided on project site. Subsistence allowance provided for time spent off project site.

Salary: £600 (per annum) dependant on experience, qualifications & availability

End of contract bonus: £150

Training: BTEC assessor training & pre-departure training provided
