Description

Union Station Homeless Services is the largest nonprofit agency serving homeless individuals and families in the San Gabriel Valley, and we are excited to be launching a new Volunteer Mentor Program. Volunteer Mentors work one on one with formerly homeless adults/families who are becoming housed, all the while supported by Union Station staff throughout the journey.

Volunteer mentors play a key role in helping our clients stabilize and integrate into new communities, work towards goals, and build life skills. This program aims to provide an extra layer of support in order to decrease the risk of becoming homeless again. This is a rewarding opportunity to foster a meaningful connection with adults in need.

Mentorship changes lives, and everyone deserves the opportunity to be mentored. So start the new year off right, mentor a new member of your community in 2018.
