Description

Activities with children and environmental protection in Nampula City, December 3 - December 17, 2018.

The volunteers will be carrying out various environmental tasks at Nampula Cidade, as well as community development work and activities with children.

The project is organized in a way that provides opportunity for the volunteers to utilize their free time by enjoying what the region offers in terms of cultural and natural attractions. Volunteers can visit Mozambique Island which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. The city has, among other monuments of value, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Baluarte dated 1522, at the north end of the island (single architecture model Manueline in Mozambique). It is home to the Mozambique National Ethnographic Museum
