Kids with Cancer house, Telus World of Science, Alberta Legislative Assembly, Delta Hotel South
11135 84 Avenue
The Kids with Cancer Society strongly believes that comprehensive family centered programs are essential to effectively treat children with cancer. In order to meet the needs of the whole child and their families from the time of diagnosis, throughout treatment, survivor-ship and beyond, programs are developed that address the support, clinical and research needs of our children.
On Saturday, June 23, an amazing group of kids will get to ride in an exotic car from the Kids with Cancer Society (KWCS) house to the Telus World of Science for a special IMAX viewing. From there, the event will move to the Legislative grounds where there will be plenty of activities where everyone is welcome. The day will cap off with a gala at the Delta South Edmonton Hotel (more details can be found here).
There are several volunteer positions that need to be filled, with shifts available anytime between the hours of 7:00AM and midnight. Priority will be given to volunteers who are interested in working longer or multiple shifts (you can sign up for as many shifts as you like!)
If you are, friendly, outgoing, interested in helping support a great cause and in being surrounded by $50,000,000 worth of exotic cars, then this is the perfect event for you! Please just email me or call our office (780-496-2459) let us know your availability, and what roles you’re interested in.
