Volunteer Purpose and Impact

Proper documentation and timely note entry is key when working with vulnerable populations. This volunteer will support the Children & Family Services team, scanning documents, filing, and entering some electronic records. This is a fast-paced environment, and volunteers will allow our staff to ensure that all client needs are taken care of as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables

Volunteer duties may include:

·      Scanning documents

·      Organizing files and paperwork

·      Entering data into electronic databases


Volunteer should be comfortable using an office printer/scanner, and have some experience with computers. Volunteer should be able to stand, sit, and lift 15 pounds.

Working Conditions

Volunteer will be in a typical office setting, with access to a scanner, printer, and computer. Volunteer will be standing most of the time.

Clearances Required & Training

As volunteer will be working with confidential information, a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card is required. Volunteer will also attend a 1-hour orientation, and receive specific on-the-job training as needed.

Location & Timeframe

Our office is located at 6303 E Tanque Verde Rd, Suite #101, Tucson, AZ 85715.

Volunteer should commit to at least 1 day per week, for 2-4 hours, during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm).
