Description

Volunteers will work with disabled children in the Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. The hospital provides orthopedic and physiotherapy care to children and adults from all over the south of Vietnam. The patients who come here for rehabilitation treatment are usually referred by their doctors or other hospitals.

The hospital mainly focuses on orthopedics, with various rooms for different treatments including a daycare room for disabled children where they can receive physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.

Volunteers will spend most of their time in the daycare room working with disabled children. Volunteers are also expected to help with some manual tasks such as cleaning, painting or renovating the children's room.
