Description

Panajachel Colegio Internacional is a non-profit university-preparatory junior and senior high school serving primarily Guatemalan and some expat students. We provide scholarships on a financial need basis from our operating funds. We are seeking someone to work with our Director and our Board Fundraising Committee to raise money for the school's scholarship fund and for capital expenses. This includes researching and identifying foundations and other donor prospects with an interest in PCI's mission; developing, writing, and pitching grant proposals; developing materials to appeal to individual sponsors and donors; and assisting in the planning and execution of fundraising events.


Desired experience/skills include:

Excellent written English communication skills

Excellent written Spanish communication skills are desirable, but not required

Fundraising experience, including researching and identifying appropriate foundations and donor prospects; developing, writing and pitching grant proposals; developing materials to appeal to individual sponsors and donors; and event planning and execution.
