Get up, get out, and come prepare a group of girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. In between the high fives and piggyback rides, these girls will look up to you as a model of what it means to live confidently.
Girls on the Run relies on volunteers to help us coach our programs. Coaches work directly with 3rd-5th graders or 6th-8th graders, teaching them healthy habits and training them for the big 5K race! Each team consists of 2-3 coaches and 8-21 girls. Teams meet for 90 minutes twice a week for 10 weeks. Most teams meet around 3:00pm-4:30pm. The Fall 2018 season starts the week of September 10th and goes through the week of November 12th.
NO RUNNING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
